Nicolas Herault will join ECOPA staff in spring 2011
Tuesday, 07 December 2010 ECOPA is happy to announce that Nicolas Herault will join our core team next spring. Nicolas is a quantitative economist specialised in trade policies, tax policies, labour economics and income distribution issues. Nicolas’s research relies extensively on the use of macro-economic modelling techniques (including computable general equilibrium models) and econometric techniques. He has published several articles in leading economics journals including the International Journal of Microsimulation and Fiscal Studies. In addition, he has recently undertaken commissioned research for clients such as the World Bank. Nicolas holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in economics from the University of Bordeaux IV (France).).

Brussels, Belgium: ECOPA trade project in Congo selected by TradeCom as best practice
ECOPA's trade policy project in Congo Brazzaville has been selected by TradeCom as a showcase for high quality and impact. Cristina Rampulla, ECOPA's Marketing Director, will present the project during TradeCom's Best Practices Workshop to be held in Brussels on October 12, 2010.
