ECOPA participates in International Tax Dialogue
Istanbul, Turkey
Charles Vellutini, Managing Director of ECOPA, joined tax administrators and senior officials from 15 countries throughout Europe and Asia, to share experiences and lessons learned from both implementation and operation of risk-based tax assessment systems. Risk-based audit is a key element of modernizing tax administration in the region, and various systems are either being implemented or developed by several CIS countries. In partnership with the World Bank Group and International Tax Dialogue (ITD), the purpose of the conference is to bring together these practitioners to establish a forum for future cooperation.
