Franck Portier holds a PhD from Université Panthéon-Sorbonne. His fields of interest are macro-economics (monetary and fiscal policy, international macro-economics, applied time series) and environmental economics (sustainable growth, the greenhouse effect and economic analysis of the Kyoto Protocol). He has published widely on these topics. He is a Professor of Economics at the University of Toulouse where he teaches macro-economics at doctoral level.
