Zdenek Drabek


International Trade, Finance and Macroeconomics
Zdenek Drabek holds a D.Phil. from the University of Oxford, an M.A. from the University of Cambridge and an MSc from the University of Prague. His main interests are in international trade and finance and open macroeconomics. Prior to his most recent work as adviser to the World Trade Organization and senior economist at the World Bank, he was the chairman of Economics Department at the University of Buckingham and minister in the government of former Czechoslovakia. He has published widely in major academic journals as well as several books on international economics. His most recent book, 'Is the World Trade Organization Attractive Enough for Emerging Economies?' was published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2009 in London.
